BETH CAVENER STICHTER - ANIMAL BODY HUMAN SPACE
The sculptures of Beth Cavener Stichter hold attention with an eerie intrigue. She proffers animal forms actuated with human emotional concerns. The hybrid as a theme has been overdone in recent years to the point of potentially drying out the well. Cavener Stichter has entered into the discourse with a new light, one that has the potential to shine throughout a career.
The sculptures do not display an overall polish. Some areas are defined more than others like the drawings of an old master. These physical embellishments mirror her psychological concerns of things left unsaid.

Scott plays basketball? He looks like a wookie. Long hair, big beard. I go up to Ned for every show. Elisha is really nice. The are in between a junk shop and a dive bar and changing the art world. The next show is Jermane Rogers I cant wait!!!
