BETTER THAN YESTERDAY – NOWhere LIMITED
February 2nd, 2009It is supposed to be our downtime at NOWhere Limited. It gets cold/windy/snowy up here at eight thousand feet above sea level so we put the space into hibernation. The gallery in an empty state was annoying so we initiated an idea that had always been in mind.
“Better than Yesterday” is an open show where anyone entering the gallery can pick up a brush and leave their mark. Two large walls of the gallery have been covered in paper just waiting to be painted.
This first weekend of the three weekend project was exciting. No one was told about the project, instead we relied on random customers that happened to wander into the gallery. The percentage of folks that took part was astonishing.
Be sure to stop in and show us what you’ve got. Black paint and brushes are on hand so all that you need to supply is imagination. We will be updating the progress of this unusual intervention here at LOOK INTO MY OWL and at NOWhere Limited each week.
