CRAIG KOCH & HEATHER DALTON – NOWhere LIMITED

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

This week we will be adding some exciting new items to our online catalog at NOWhere Limited. The work comes from Craig Koch and Heather Dalton, artists local to our hometown of Nederland, Colorado.

Craig Koch - Post-Apocalyptic Tribal Sculptures - 2009

Craig Koch is a recent transplant from Arizona. He creates these tight little sculptures mainly from disused electronics and wire. He classifies his interests as post-apocalyptic tribal.

Heather Dalton - T-Shirts - 2009

Heather Dalton is an accomplished painter that impressed us with her work as part of the “Better than Yesterday” project at the gallery. She is making some nice hand pulled silkscreen t-shirts that we couldn’t resist.

These exceptional works from both artists will be available in the gallery this weekend and online beginning Wednesday, May 6th at 3pm EDT.

JERMAINE ROGERS – STUDIO VISIT

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

This week I took some time out to visit with a good friend and amazing artist Jermaine Rogers. His studio is located in the halcyonic town of Manitou Springs, Colorado. Nestled between Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods, Manitou is steeped in natural beauty and long considered sacred by the locals. A perfect setting to create.

Each weekend Jermaine’s studio “DERO 72″ transforms into a gallery and opens to the public. It is here that you can catch up with his current exploits and possibly pick up something choice from the past.

The gallery has a warm atmosphere reminiscent of a bazaar with deep area rugs and comfortable furniture. It is situated in the midst of Manitou Spring’s arcade boasting indoor and open air games.

JUSTIN HAMPTON – “HISTORY” APPAREL

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Last month Justin Hampton released his “That One: History” limited edition print through our gallery NOWhere Limited. The image became an instant classic and unfortunately demand far exceeded supply for this historic artwork. We hope the good people that got shut out on the print edition can console themselves and show their pride through choice of wardrobe. A portion of the proceeds go to aid the transition of power.

The silkscreened 100% organic cotton t-shirts are available in navy and white. The shirts are offered in two styles and a huge array of sizes.

At this time of year it may be wise to sport the fleece hoodie. All three pieces are now available for preorder at NOWhere Limited.

Justin has been invited to show a five by five foot painting of this iconic image in the “Manifest Hope: D.C.” show that runs January 17-19 as part of the inaugural celebration. We will be covering this important art event here at L.I.M.O. So check back.
